  • To manage any pain, you can take any over-the-counter painkiller pills (Tylenol or anything of the sort). (Consult your dentist)

  • You may experience bruising and swelling, which will go away on their own—use an ice pack to aid in the healing.

  • Drink lots of water and stay away from alcohol and caffeinated, carbonated, or hot drinks for 24 hours.

  • Eat soft foods.

  • Do not use tobacco.

  • Avoid brushing your teeth for 24 hours. Rinse your mouth only.
